So I’ve had a pretty busy week, so I’ll start from last friday to catch everyone up.
Last friday, I met up with a friend and we tried out the sushi place in Castro Valley called isushi. It was pretty interesting the menu they had, not your typical sushi items.
This one was called josh, it has spicy tuna on some type of seaweed tampura. And there is crab on the other half, with some mango. It is pretty interesting, spicy and sweet because of the mango. =)
This one is the dynamite roll, it has spicy salmon and other things. =) And a tempura shrimp.
This is my favorite, I think it is called 007. It has hand torched kobe beer on top with some other things below.
To top it off, they gave us a free dessert. Green tea ice cream in warm sake.
So what happened was that it was our first time there. The waitress was so excited about telling us the menu. I think it took her one minute per each sushi description.
Did some mini-gofling later in CV too.
On saturday,
I went out to the house in Union City. Got the garage door half way fixed, and I worked on the sprinkler system. There were several broken sprinklers threads and missing ones. It was pretty interesting trying to find these sprinklers because they were all hiding under the grass.
Then there were some missing ones, which i could tell by the low water pressure, so i walked around looking for pools of water.
So there were items like this i had to add in.
Also got my co-worker’s boyfriend to install an exhaust vent for me. It was pretty interesting the amount of money I spent on trying to install new vents. It was around 400 for labor, and 300 for the vents. =) It was a pain in the butt for him, hahaha. When he came down from the roof he was sweating, and looked like he pee’d his pants. I gave him two bottles of water and he chugged it down in 10 seconds each. =)
On sunday after chruch, I picked up the sofa and tv. Gave my cousin a 1 dollar tip, then 50 dollars for helping me. My parents and auntie thought it was a good gesture for a college student who might need money. =) My favorite part was that my cousin was happy with the 1 dollar.
I was laughing when i saw this steve madden shoe on the side of my lawn.
Monday,
Finally, here is my funny story of that day. I was on the roof of my house checking it out to see if i could put an antenna on the roof or seeing what is on there. So as I’m up there I look around and see that one of the houses next to me has a pool, next one has a shed. Then two houses over I see someone working on their roof. I wave to him, and he waves back. This gets me imagining that scene from mary poppins where they chimmy sweepers are dancing on the roof. So I start dancing on the roof thinking the guy will dance too, however he looks at me werid and goes back to work. I am sad now so I do a parkour jump and go off the roof and roll on the grass.
Tuesday,
Today had the funniest story of them all. My co-workers have been trying to hook me up with the girl next door. So they always go when are you getting her number, and I tell them. “She has a boyfriend, that is why she never gave me her number”. But they always invite her over, but the funny thing was today when she was working at the pub, my co-worker went over there and asked if i ever asked her for her number. She said “I’ve given my number to him”.
I didn’t believe my co-worker actually asked her that, so I went over to talk to her. He actually did say it, she went “your co-worker is funny”. =)
