So one of the things that sucks about not having my grandparents alive on my mom’s side, is that we don’t celebrate as much together. No grandma or grandpa birthday parties like my dad side. However we usually find times to have dinner together. Today it was hot pot with the family, I think my parents said it turned out to be around 15 dollars a person after all the crab, fish, meat, and other stuff they about.
I had a couple funny memories from the night. The first was what a couple of my younger cousins sometimes can’t wait long enough for the hot pot to cook. So I had to go buy some fried chicken from them. I went to safeway, and waited in line for 30 minutes to get the fried chicken.
So when I was waiting in line, there was a guy in front of me, and I think 2 workers in the back. there were 2 people at the front counter talking to each of them. I thought it would be fast because I could see the chicken, but I think the lady working behind the counter were cooking some stuff for an earlier order. I was talking with the man, I don’t really remember much about what we said. However, I do remember it took 10 minutes for me to get chicken after he ordered. He went up there to get 3 chicken wings, and 4 eggrolls. However, the eggrolls didn’t have the right price, the lady was charging him 89 cents instead of 79 cents. So he was telling the lady for 5 minutes, so they stood around for 5 minutes waiting for a price check. 
My second favorite part of the night was playing tickle monster with my cousins. Those boys are crazy fast. But my tricks still work on them. I would be like Loki, and they would be Thor. I use all my wly to do trick them into thinking one thing, when I did the total opposite. Then I catch them, it is so fun watching little kids run.
