So for today, Sherri and I went to the renaissance faire in gilroy. I had invited a lot of people from church, but many could not make it. For various reasons such as work.
There were so many people dressed up, which was really cool. So a lot of corset’s, dresses, boots, swords, beer, grandmercy, and huzzahs!
So Sherri was wearing her blue denary’s cloak, and dress. It wasn’t really renaissance, but it was pretty cool. I had a pirates shirt and boot looking cover. My favorite costumes were the little kids dressed as little peasants.
The renaissance faire had a lot of different shows like “manly men in tights”, all the shows were kind of vulgur in terms of the material. A lot of talks about nipples and men’s equipment.
Then there was this one fire eating magician. He had a pretty funny story/show. He was going to finish off the show with an apple fire, bowling ball juggling trick. But the audience member started to eat his apple, so he got kind of angry/surprised.
Then for lunch we had a turkey leg for lunch, it was a really tasty leg. Nothing spectacular, but it was nice and tough.
