Here is my funny story of the day. So my sister has been looking for a church in the east bay, she is trying to find one where there are more single females out of college working young adults (in the same phase of life). Anyways, I knew two friends who went to a church. My sister thought I had told my friend Kevin to introduce himself to her and help her get acquainted with people at the church. However, I had texted my friend Edna instead. However, Edna was not there today (she was in Sacramento), so she texted her friends at church that my sister was coming. Since it is kind of hard to say “a sister of a friend of mine”, she just told the people “my friend Kelly is coming”.
My sister said when she went into the church, once she said “my name is kelly”. People would ask “oh, you are Edna’s friend, so how do you know her?” This happened with at least 5-6 people, so my sister was starting to wonder who this Edna person was. “Was she some special kind of person who you had to meet and she would allow you into the church?” Then my sister realized that I must have told Edna to introduce her around, but my sister met some nice people who eventually helped her iron out the story. So my sister will go back to the church next week and finally meet this so called friend of her’s named Edna.
On saturday I went out to SF to my favorite beach. China Beach.
