So I had a pretty awesome weekend. On friday, I took a walk with my co-workers.=) We walked 1 mile to the ghiradelli factory to buy some chocolate. It is a pretty interesting walk, I had to walk over some train tracks, and ended up at the factory. Pretty good deal too, around 9.50 a pound for candy.
We ate a lot while we walked back, and for some reason we were giving a tribute to one of our co-workers by giving him a piece of chocolate.
I also moved into a new cubicle, here is a before picture. I don’t have an after picture, but I had to move everything out from there for it to work.
Then at night, I went to cafe du nord with my friend. The 3 bands were “the curious mystery”, “birds and batteries”, and “Peter wolf crier”
I love this venue because it is small and very intimate.
First band had some interesting instruments and a cool sound. However their sound was terrible. The vocal was too soft, so I could barely hear the girl speaking, and the lead electric guitar was too loud, so his sound was heavily distorted when he played really hard.
The second band, “birds and batteries” were the best. Their sound was perfect , and a nice melodic harmony (it was also a piano driven band). 
The last band was “Peter wolf crier”. They were a two man band essentially with a 3rd guy who tours with them. Kind of interesting sound, like radiohead.
I was also working really hard on my house, finished painting the trims, now just have essentially the guest restroom and master bathroom to work on then I am good. Need to be finished before my housemate moves in. =)
