Escape the Bank SF

IMAG1757

So on Saturday, I take Sherri out on a date to “escape the bank” SF. This one is a big group one with around 30 groups trying to escape at the same time. The way they do the group escape rooms, you only work with the people on your table (6 total).

There is no searching for clues (where you take chairs/desks/rugs apart or turned around), and most of the clues are in the manila folder that they give you, and the rest of the clues are written on the walls.

The team we had was sherri, I, and 4 people from san jose that were friends. They were pretty cool people, and a lot of fun to play with.

The only downside to the game today was that I had bought 4 tickets to this event. My friend and his friend was suppose to go with us, however they had to back out at the last minute. So I ended up just swallowing the cost of the game. Because of that, when I invite people to do some events with me. If there are tickets involved, I can usually eat the cost if the other person can not pay (but usually only one time), because I really love my friends (so if I ask you to come hang with me, money is no object). It would be nice if you paid for the tickets, but I will survive (and make sure you pay next time).

That is usually how I look at things. God has blessed me with some money and to use it to bless others. Usually I try to gauge the events that I invite certain friends to, so it would be something they like and that I like too!

Here is a picture of some guys behind us that were really set on winning.

Then for lunch, I finally tried a sandwich from whole foods.
