I love the weekends now, especially without the test. It is interesting how certain things that don’t feel like they are stressful, does really put a damper on my social life. I don’t have to worry so much about thinking about it and other wonderful things.
Friday, I got to go hiking in the san bruno mountain, and eat really good mexican food. My favorite part of the restaurant was how there was a lady playing the harp in the corner, and giving live music to the place. Very nice atmosphere.
Then on saturday, I went to the exploratorium in SF, that place is being torn down and moved to a new location. Jamie had an extra ticket so took me along.
What I found out about myself was that my knack for tinkering really takes over when I see something broken. There were a couple things that I wanted to fix because the machiesn said “broken” on them, but I was restrained back by my friend. That would have been awesome if I went through and fixed the whole place back up. 🙂
We went through that place slow, took us 1.5 hours to go through the top floor exhibits. Part of the exploratorium is not as fun for me now, becuase I feel like I learned about it too many times in college. 🙂
What does that mean? I think it means that I love challenges if I can find one. There are certain things that I don’t really need to be too challenging, but I will need things I want to achieve or else I get bored.
Then I got to celebrate my Grandfather’s birthday. I was wondering why my grandma never invited her sister over, and it was really funny. It is because her sister’s family is always really really late. So when we say 6:30 pm, there will be people that are slow and finally arrive at 8pm. Out of courtesy, we don’t eat until the last person shows up. So because they have done it so many times (4 last dinners they were invited to), my grandparents don’t invite them anymore to a dinner out at a restaurant. They are still invited to a dinner/buffet style food at the grandparents house, because you can come late and eat.
It is really nice to see my grandma all the time.
