One of the most interesting things that happened this year is how one of my friends Alan became a soccer fanatic. He never really played soccer or loved that sport until the past year. Then bam, he now comes over to watch Premier league (mostly a Chelsea fan).
To get us to love this sport, he decided to tell everyone to come watch a San Jose Earthquakes game with him. Saying this is the greatest thing ever. 
It was a pretty terrible game, slightly misty. All the players didn’t look crisp, and their gameplay look a total level down from premiership soccer. Which means not a lot of one touch passings, and more over dribbling. The earthquakes played terrible, they scored an own goal when I guy slid too far and hit the ball in with his shin as he was trying to slide kick it out.
Then they pushed too much in extra time, and the other team got a slight breakaway and scored it. 
I think Sherri and Jeannie really liked it, and Sherri was having shoulder problems and Jeannie fixed it for her. It is interesting seeing how having a good PT can make everything feel better.
